US military stands ready to respond to Los Angeles fires, FEMA’s Criswell says

 

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Active duty U.S. military personnel stand ready to deploy to contain wildfires that have ripped through Los Angeles, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Deanne Criswell said on Sunday in an interview on ABC’s “This Week” program.

Criswell also said FEMA has the funding needed to support its response effort to the wildfires.
